OUR HISTORY
The story of S.I.P.I.E. began in the 1920s with the production of measuring instruments and ammeter transformers.
From 1948, the company expanded and diversified its production to include all types of measuring instruments available on the market - both analog and digital - as well as a wide range of current transformers (CTs). Over the years, S.I.P.I.E. adapted its production to meet the needs of power distribution companies and major european manufacturers of medium-voltage switchgear.
In the 1990s, the company focused its operations exclusively on the production of current transformers, introducing new enclosed transformer models both solid-core and split-core to broaden and complete its product range and enhance competitiveness.
S.I.P.I.E. has always operated with the passion and pride that distinguish authentic Made in Italy quality.

OUR PRESENT
Our production range includes toroidal solid-core current transformers (enclosed, resin-cast, and tape-wound types), split-core CTs and special transformers (rectangular and elliptical models).
Our product offering meets both the most common market standardization requirements for medium-voltage systems (such as CEI 0-16, in combination with widely used protection systems, CCI, and others), as well as the custom solutions requested by switchgear manufacturers for specific measurement and protection needs.
For this reason, we have progressively developed a wide range of split-core current transformers, designed to combine versatility, reliability and precision.
